Sonora- Lydia Mendez Hernandez, age 67 of Sonora passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023. Funeral services will be held at Love Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, Anacleto "Marcie" Hernandez. She is survived by her son Christopher Rojas, daughter Charlene Rojas, brother Arnold Mendez, and sister Juanita Herrera, grandchildren Ashley Nicole Rojas, Amy Mashae Rojas, Victor Rojas, and Jonathan Cook, and great granddaughter Penelope Jade Rojas.
