Sylvia Oleta Duckworth

Oleta Atwood Duckworth, 89, of Sonora, Texas, passed away on July 18, 2018, at her residence. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10:00a.m. in Eden Cemetery.    Oleta was born on October 10, 1928, in Paint Rock, Texas, to Harvey and Nell Atwood. Oleta married Kenneth L. Duckworth on November 4, 1950, in Eden, Texas, and were married for 40 years.    Oleta was a homemaker and had lived in Sonora for 65 years. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Kenneth; and her parents, Harvey and Nell; and her brother, Winfred Atwood.     Survivors include her daughters, Terry Nell Duckworth and Lynn Barber and husband Charles, all of Sonora; and one grandson, Cody Layne Barber of College Station, Texas.     The Family would like to thank Lynn Burchell and her staff with Hospice of Sonora for the wonderful care and comfort given to their mother, Oleta, during this difficult time.
