Rojelio "Roy" Luna

Rojelio (Roy) Borrego Luna age 62, of Sonora, Texas passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 with his family by side. He was born in Morton, Texas on December 5, 1957. He worked on the drilling rigs as a roughneck for many years. He loved spending time at the ranch, hunting, fishing and riding his horse. He is preceded in death by his parents Aureliano and Antonia Luna, his first wife, Josie Noriega Luna and brothers, Johnny and Ubaldo Luna. He is survived by daughter, Claudia Luna and husband, Michael of Big Spring, Tx.; Son, Roy Luna and wife, Beatrice of Big Spring, Tx.; Daughter, Kimble Lane and husband, Cash of Bertram, Tx.; Son, Harold Luna and fiancé Jordan of Barksdale, Tx.; Significant other, Dorothy Maldonado of Sonora, Tx; Sister, Angelica Castro of Sonora, Tx and Brother, Aureliano Luna Jr. and wife, Debbie of Ozona, Tx; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and pet and companion, Duke Luna. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 28, 2020 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church followed by a graveside at Sonora Cemetery. The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice out of San Angelo, Tx for their care, kindness and support during this difficult time. We would also like to extend our gratitude to all those who have shown their love, support and prayers.
