Randall "Randy" Lee Surber

Sonora- Randall "Randy" Lee Surber, 68 of Sonora, Texas went to be with the Lord May 21, 2021. He was born August 12, 1952 to J.C. and Loma Surber in Crane, Texas. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Hext Cemetery in Hext, Texas. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Sonora, Texas. Randy graduated from Rankin High School and got his degree from Sul Ross. He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Surber and his brother Rex Edwin Surber. Randy is survived by his daughter Jennifer Surber and son Jeffrey Surber. He is also survived by his mother, Loma Surber, brother Ronnie "Scooter" Surber, and grandchildren Melissa Surber, Kristina Zabecki, Ethan and Tyler Goins. Also many cousins, aunts, nephews, nieces, great nieces and nephews. His good friends across the country shall also miss him. His passions were helping people, wood work, fishing, hunting, and true country music were just part of his many talents. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to your favorite charity, or First Baptist Church Sonora, Texas or the Heart of Texas Country Music Museum in Brady, Texas.
