Patsy Kellogg

Patsy Kellogg, a beloved member of the Eldorado community, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at the age of 89. on June 13, 1936, as Patsy Taylor, she embodied warmth, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to her family and community.

Throughout her life, Patsy was passionate about cooking and baking, where she garnered several accolades for her delicious creations. She found joy in cross-stitching and also received recognition for her intricate designs. Alongside her husband, she cherished the ranch life, caring for their land with love and perseverance. Fishing was a significant part of her life, reflecting her enduring connection with nature and the outdoors.

Patsy was more than a talented cook and a crafty artisan; she was a pillar of support in her community. She was always willing to lend a hand to those in need, demonstrating her generous spirit and willingness to contribute to the welfare of others in Eldorado.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Kellogg ; her grandsons, Quincy and Alex Weddle; her great grandchildren, Kenzie and Madilyn; brother, Velton Taylor, and his wife Dale; her sister-in-law, Carol Mitchel; and her brothers-in-law, Kirby Kellogg and Kenneth Kellogg. Patsy’s legacy continues through her loving family and the many lives she touched.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kellogg; her parents, Clovis and Ada Belle Taylor; her brother, Roy Lynn Taylor; and her sister, Helen Kaye Crochet. Her influence and love will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Patsy was the proud recipient of many awards and accolades that include, but are not limited to, Mias Amigas Reunion Most Dedicated Volunteer June 2018, "for caring enough to stay in touch and being the glue that will keep us all together" from the EHS Class of 1955 (June 25, 2005), and The Patsy Taylor Kellogg Day award for June 6, 2005 in Eldorado, TX.

Visitation will be held on September 1, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Love Funeral Home in Eldorado, Texas. The funeral service will take place on September 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Mertzon Hwy Church of Christ in Eldorado, Texas.
