Patsy Moore Johnson

Sonora- Patsy Moore "Dennie" Johnson, age 92 of Sonora passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sonora Cemetery. Patsy was born in Sonora, Tx. December 1st, 1931 to Fay Corder Moore and Frank Leslie "Mike" Moore. She attended Sonora schools and graduated in 1950. She married Earl J. Johnson April 17, 1953. They have one daughter, Leslie Jean, born October 20, 1954. Patsy retired from the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation after 25 years, in 1988. Her favorite activity was fishing with her best friend of 70 years. Patsy is survived by her best friend, Earl Johnson, her daughter Leslie Thorp (Tim), her grandson Thomas (T.J.) and wife Pam, her granddaughter Joni Thorp, and great grandchildren Jocelyn Massey, and Rylie, Kendall and Brooks Thorp, her sister Margaret Walton of Clyde, Tx., and brother John Moore and wife Tressa of Big Lake, Tx., brother -in-law Jerry Johnson of San Angelo, and many nieces and nephews.
