Olga Romero

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Olga Romero, who left us on October 18, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on June 16, 1934, in Sonora, TX, Olga lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep passion for her family and community.

Olga was a spirited soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was a die-hard football fan, always cheering on the Sonora Broncos and the Cowboys, and could often be found enjoying a lively game of Bingo. For 28 years, Olga dedicated herself to the Sutton County Steakhouse, where her warm smile and infectious laughter made everyone feel at home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her devoted husband, Ignacio Romero. Olga leaves behind her cherished daughter, Elena Gandar, along with her adoring grandchildren: Franchesca Rivera (Raul), Freddy Perez, and Kristi Bumpus. Olga was also the proud great-grandmother to Cesar, Noah, Kamri, Allie, Presley, Keygan, and had many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday October 21, 2025 from 12:00 - 7:00 in Sonora, TX.

Funeral services will be held in honor of Olga, on October 22, 2025 at St Ann's Catholic Church in Sonora, TX at 10:00 am with graveside to follow at Sonora cemetery.

In our hearts, Olga will always remain a guiding light, bringing us joy and laughter even in her absence. Rest in peace, dear Olga; you will be missed more than words can express.
