Ma Huichapa

Ma Felicitas Huichapa, 59, a cherished mother, step-mother, and friend, passed away on October 15, 2025, in Eldorado, Texas, where she had resided for over 24 years. Born on March 6, 1966, in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico, Ma was known for her vibrant spirit, her love of dance, and her keen sense of style, which often included beautiful jewelry that reflected her joyful personality.

She is preceded in death by her parents Evaristo and Cristina and her beloved husband, Rodolfo. Ma is survived by her sons, Jesus and Osvaldo; her stepchildren, San Juanita Huichapa, Maria G. Munoz, Blanca Gomez, and Luis Rodolfo Huichapa; her sisters, Margarita Pena Rivera and Yolanda Pena Rivera; her cherished niece, Nayeli Vazquez Pena; and her dear friends, Dora Quintanilla, Maria Hernandez, and Enedelia Reyes.

Funeral services for Ma Huichapa will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Eldorado, Texas. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Eldorado. Following the services, she will be laid to rest in Eldorado Cemetery.

Ma Huichapa will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who loved her.
