George M. "Jenky" Thorp

George M. (Jenky) Thorp, Jr. on January 13, 2018 went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born August 22, 1947 in Sonora, Tx., and was raised here. He is preceded in death by his wife Nita, and parents George M., Sr. and Faye Thorp. He was admired and liked by many. He is survived by his sister Carla Wilson and husband Robert, sister-in-law Eva Harris and husband Walter, many nieces and nephews. One of his greatest joys was his great-great nephew Noah, whom he love like a child he never had. Services will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Love Funeral Home Chapel. He will truly be missed.
