Francisco Morin Gandar

Francisco “Frank” Morin Gandar went home to be with his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on June 20, 2022. He was born on August 24, 1947, to his parents Oralia and Francisco Gandar, in Sonora, Texas. Frank was known for his love of football, starting with THE Houston Oilers, later to become THE BIGGEST HOUSTON TEXANS fan! His heartfelt smile and genuine acts of service was evident through his relationship with his parents, siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He leaves a void that can only be filled by God. The family wants to Thank Everyone who was a part of his life. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Oralia Morin Gandar; son Robert Gandar; granddaughter, Florencia Gandar; sister, Delia G. Duran; brother, Ramiro Gandar; and brother, Arturo Gandar. Frank will be missed dearly by his children, Franchesca Gandar and her 2 children of San Angelo, Tx. George Gandar and wife, Christy Gandar and their 3 children; Veronica Gandar Lizama and husband, Edgar Lizama and their 4 children of Houston, Tx; Frank Gandar, III and his wife, Mary Gandar and their 3 children of El Dorado, TX; siblings, Estella Gandar and Beatrice Ramirez of Fort Worth, Texas; and Enrique Gandar of Arlington, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Love Funeral Home, 409 E. 2nd Street, Sonora, Texas, 76950, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, June 22, 2022. The funeral will be at 11am on THURSDAY, June 23, 2022 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 311 W. Plum Street, Sonora, TX 76950. --
