Felipe Flores Estrada

Felipe Flores Estrada Sr. passed away Sunday, March 16th, 2025 at the age of 61. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Sonora, Texas. The burial will follow at the Sonora Cemetery in Sonora, Texas. Felipe was born on January 17, 1964 to Juan and Carolina Estrada in Big Spring, Texas. He later moved to Sonora, TX for employment where he met his wife, Gloria Paredes. They welcomed their son, Felipe Flores Estrada Jr. on May 31st, 2002. Sonora became their home where Felipe continued work in the oilfield. Felipe is proceeded in death by his parents, Juan and Carolina Estrada, sisters Adela Dehoyos, Lupe Castillo, and Theresa Sanchez. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Estrada, son, Felipe Estrada Jr; sisters, Rosa Montez, Alicia Trujillo, Cruz Salazar; brothers, Pedro Estrada, Ramon Estrada, Henry Estrada, and Edward Estrada. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. When Felipe wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and son. He loved going dancing and attending church. God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea. Psalm 46:1-2
