Felicitas R. Perez

Felicitas R. Pérez, also known to many as “Fela”, went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. She was 93 years old and transitioned peacefully, surrounded by many in her loving family. She was born the first child of Pedro Guerrero Sr. and Ninfa Muñoz on November 28, 1928 in Ozona, Texas. She was raised by her dear family Trinidad and Librada Ramirez, in Sonora, Texas. She was preceded in death by her infant son, David Perez, her parents, her brother Pedro Guerrero Jr., and her husband Salome S. Pérez. She is survived by sons, Sam (Lyn) Pérez of Ben Bolt, Texas; Peter (Michele) Pérez of Round Rock, Texas; daughters, Bonnie Aguero of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Ruth Ramos (Rodolfo) of San Antonio, Texas; 9 grandchildren, Robbie, Zeke, Zach, Jake, Isaac, Samantha, Caleb, Mikey, and Max; and 15 great-grandchildren. Felicitas R. Pérez married her long-time sweetheart, Salome S. Pérez, in Sonora, Texas. She was both a beautician and a homemaker. Through their marriage of over 70 years, she was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a proud member of Primera Iglesia Bautista, and later of First Baptist Church, Sonora. She was an amazing friend and sister in Christ to many women with whom she shared a Bible study and prayer group. She will be missed tremendously by all, but there is peace in knowing that she is with our Heavenly Father. Visitation will be at Love Funeral Home, Sonora, Texas, on Sunday, December 5. Hours will be 12pm – 9pm. Funeral Services will begin at First Baptist Church, Sonora on Monday, December 6 at 11:00am
