Emma Sepeda

Emma Sepeda, age 62, was called upon by the Lord on April 21, 2022 with her husband and her daughters by her side. Emma was born on August 15, 1959 in Sonora, Texas to Guadalupe F. And Guadalupe N. Jimenez. Emma was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She kept everyone entertained with her humor. She lit up every gathering with her smile and laughter. She was always dressed with her vibrant colors, feathers, jewelry, and bright lipstick. She enjoyed long road trips with her husband, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandsons. She loved to live life to the fullest. Most of all, she was a strong beautiful person on the inside. She was a woman of faith. Emma is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Fernandez Jimenez and Guadalupe Noriega Jimenez; and brother, Ernesto “Neto” Jimenez. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Ervey Sepeda; daughters, Mayra Page and Bianca Sepeda; son-in-law Christopher Page; daughter-in-law Senida Martinez; grandsons, Noah Jasper Page and Jonah Asher Page; and her beloved dog, Max. She is survived by her brothers and their spouses, Juan L. & Joyce Jimenez, Oscar & Olinda Jimenez, and the widow of her late brother Neto, Mary Lou Creek. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces and their spouses Jerry & Nancy Jimenez, Dorothy Jimenez, Fernando & Ursula Jimenez, Standley & Melissa Anderson, Javiel Jimenez, Oscar Jimenez, Jr., Elaine & Cesar Mejia, as well as great nephews, great nieces, and many cousins. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and aides who cared for Emma over the years at Lillian M. Hudspeth Memorial Hospital, Shannon Medical Center, Mary Crowley Cancer Research, MD Anderson, and her primary care physician Dr. Charles Pajestka . We would especially like to thank Hunter Hohensee, Sharon Love, and Adriana Buitron of Alvin F. Johnson Hospice who made her last weeks comfortable and peaceful. Your efforts did not go unnoticed, and they are greatly appreciated. A memorial will be held in her honor on Thursday April 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Sonora Tx
