Emery Faith Mckee

Emery left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Emery Faith McKee, age three, earned her angel wings on May 30, 2017. She was born in Odessa, Texas on September 29, 2013 to parents Amber West-Lewis and Preston McKee. Emery was filled with love and laughter. Her personality filled the room. Emery loved Disney Princesses. Rapunzel and Princess Poppy were favorites, but especially Frozen’s Elsa and Anna. You could always count on Emery playing with her dogs, Sophie and Molly, often having Sophie ride shot-gun in her toy jeep. Her blue eyes and spirited self-confidence left footprints on our hearts. Left to treasure Emery’s memory are her parents, Amber and Preston. Also surviving Emery are grandmother and grandfather, Kim West Lewis (Granna) and Casey ‘Petie’ Lewis (Grandad); grandmother and grandfather, Liz McKee (Nana) and Jay McKee (Papa); great grandmothers, Nancy West Tejeda and Mary Lewis, and great grandfather Joe McKee. Great-great grandmother, Emerance Gawlik. Aunts and uncles; Kaci Lewis, Terri McKee, Valerie McKee and Jon Rubio, Kevin West, Derek and Angela West, Gus and Bobbie Mann, James and Estella McKee, Justin and Teresa McKee, Patty Rhine, Matt and Mary Ramos, Leeta Lewis, Marty and Leslie Lewis. Survived by her cousins, but known to Emery as her best friends, Avery and Peyton West, Gibson and Gage Davis, Mackenzie Rhine and Gracie West. Preceding Emery in death were Bobbie Jean McKee, Hershel West, Gerald Lewis, Alfred Gawlik, Ted Tejeda, Darrell Tibbitts Visitation with family will be Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m at Love Funeral Home in Sonora Texas. Services will be held at the Lighthouse Community Church, Sonora, Texas on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
