Daniel Hulsey

Daniel Adrian Hulsey “Danny” beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend departed this life on January 19th, 2017, at the young age of 45. Daniel was born to Roy and Glenna Hulsey in Hico, Texas on July 20th, 1971. Daniel graduated from Sonora High School in 1991. From a young age, Danny was an avid baseball player. He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing with his dad. As a family man Daniel took great pride in spending time with his four children, nieces, and nephews. It would not be unusual to find him at a sporting event, hollering for our kids and even at the officials, or at a ballet performance, holding dance bags and flowers. He loved his family more than life itself. His contagious laugh, smile, and bright blue eyes will truly be missed and never forgotten by his friends and family. Danny was preceded in death by his infant son, Zachery, his paternal grandparents Liddie and Hurshel Hulsey, of Dublin, Texas, maternal grandparents Dessie and Jack Couch of Sonora and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. He’s survived by his parents Roy and Glenna Hulsey. Elva Hulsey and their children, Jordan, Chelsey, Noah, and Morgan Hulsey. His sisters Becca Love and her children, Tyrell, Shane, Kylie, and Dakota Love. Skeeter Hocutt and her children, Ashton and Edward Garcia, Paige Johnson, and Ethan Hocutt. Stephanie Hulsey and her children, Natalie Gaytan, Kaydence and Gabriel De La Rosa. Great nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Brushy Top Cowboy Church, 5424 South Highway 277. Graveside will follow at Sonora Cemetery. Services officiated by his uncle Richard Couch, from Brownwood, Texas. Pallbearers will be Dave Love, Tyrell Love, Shane Love, Russel Conger, Jack Johnson, and Michael Goodlow.
